Dan has been a professional musician for many decades now and is a dear friend, with whom I've had the opportunity to tour with on a few occasions.
He's career and life, having moved from home land Canada to California, almost 25 years ago, has some very insightful points, and we have dived into them all.
His positive energy is palpable on this Podcast, and I love it! :)
This is a great kick off for the Roller Coaster Podcast in 2022!

Ep. 31 Jeff Maker (Lighting Designer - All Time Low, Good Charlotte)
Thursday Dec 16, 2021
Thursday Dec 16, 2021
Jeff is a very talented lighting designer, programmer, set designer and board operator for the Rock American band, All Time Low. He has also worked with the likes of Good Charlotte, The Dresden Dolls, The Gaslight Anthem, just to name a few.
Jeff has designed shows from arenas to small venues. He loves the challenges of creating in new, challenging environments.
In early 2000, Jeff started out as a booking agent for local bands in CT. He than moved to Boston in late 2000 to attend Emerson College majoring in TV/Video. To earn some sort of income and to stay in the industry, he started working as a barback at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA in 2003. Barbacking was a fun job but wasn't exactly what he had his sights set on. Jeff wanted to tour and see the world. Soon, he was trained as one of the house LDs at The Paradise in 2004. Then became the main house LD at AXIS in Boston, MA in 2005. He continued to hone and develop my skills there as much as he possibly could. Got offered his first tour in 2006 and haven't looked back since.

Claire is the Outreach Manager for PRS for Music for the West of England. On her role, she works with music creators, organisations and representatives to advise on PRSfM, how to get the most from membership.
This was a very insightful conversation. Claire has a huge understanding of the in's and out's of the Music Publishing Sector and how creatives can monetise their work as musicians.
Very inspirational indeed! Hope you all enjoy this great episode of the Roller Coaster Podcast!

André Dellamanha has an amazing professional career as Production and Tour Manager for the likes of Sepultura, Arch Enemy, Scorpions, Angra etc.
On the previous episode, Part 1, André tells us how everything started for him in the music business. It's a very insightful conversation and André's experience is unparalleled and I dare to say, a very good lesson on how to get into the major leagues of the touring business.
On this part 2 of the conversation, André will get into the nitty-gritty of the most important professional within a touring party.
Countless stories on the road with Sepultura, Angra and Arch Enemy.
An absolute delight this conversation was and I hope you'll all enjoy :)
